Wetton has provided a free decontamination service to the Sevenoaks High Street furniture with permission from Sevenoaks District Council as customers returned after lockdown.
Wetton carried out a sanitising service using our electrostatic sprays to apply a COVID-19 cleaning solution which continues to work up to 30 days after application.
We have treated touch points on pedestrian crossings, handrails, bins and parking meters with microbe testers carried out to confirm that the areas treated have been decontaminated. We will be working with Sevenoaks District Council over the coming months to monitor the levels of microbes found on the high street to see when further treatment will be required.
We plan to return to the high street in November 2020 to treat the street assets again this time to spray a COVID-19 cleaning solution which continues to work up to 90 days after application. This should provide reassurance to the visitors to the high street during their Christmas Shopping and the January Sales which are traditionally an important time within the retail and hospitality sector.
We hope this will help support our fellow high street businesses and encourage visitors back to this friendly market town to support the local shops, restaurants and bars.
